The post below is for Agents of Thursdays’ eyes only!
Alright, listen up Agents of Thursday! This mission must remain covert and discretion is highly advised. It has come to my attention that the very fabric of our lives may be compromised, you see when my co-agent Kyle and I started Welcome to Thursdays our front was simply a social club, a special group of people that got together on Thursday nights. By now, you’ve all been briefed and know what we truly are: double Old Mil agents, with a license to drink at our discretion to complete our mission. That mission, of course, is to have fun. It has been brought to our attention from OMI6 (Old Milwaukee Intelligence -Section 6) that with the temperature dropping in the northern hemisphere, many people have started having less fun. So I ask all double Old Mil agents to answer the call this Thursday and come out!
Join us as we travel to a “Milwaukee Must”: the Safe House! I will never forget my first time traveling to the Safe House. I walked down a mysterious ally only to find someone asking me for a password that I did not know. As a result, I had to pass a “clearance test” – you will also experience this if you don’t know the password. Once you’re inside my friends, you realize it’s allllll worth it to find out what lies behind these walls of mystery. With every nook and cranny, I found myself more and more lost in this amazing establishment.
I’d like to add that the Safe House has recently been renovated. They have great bar service full of spy-themed cocktails, cold beer, and good people. Hungry? They have you covered with a menu full of delicious fare. Now I know that the great people and great times at Welcome to Thursdays is no mystery, but I still ask all of you dear readers to come on out this Thursday and join us for a cold one or three.
Let me end by saying it is good to be back in the saddle again after my silent retreat. I have found answers to many questions and sat upon the very boundaries of our existence to realize one truth: all you need to know about life is contained in one tiny 12 oz. aluminum capsule. I truly pondered the overpowering red, regal insignia, which is an enticing implication towards prestige and prosperity, and serves as subtle nod to show that Old Milwaukee is indeed your royal and loyal friend. Oh, beauty is a beguiling call to Old Milwaukee and I’m addicted to the sweet pitch of its siren.
Cheers my friends!
Your Co-Founder and Friend,
Double Old Mil Agent Blandin
