Greetings and Salutations,
Join us this week as we travel out to The Corner Pub for a night of great drinks, great food, and even greater people. The Corner Pub comes at you with a full menu of delicious bar fare ranging from loaded tots to burgers to my personal favorite bar food: wings! As if it couldn’t get any better, it also appears to be wing night – so swing on by for some 50 cent wings! We will also have some great entertainment, as we get to watch two greats go at it, as the ferocious Cleveland Browns take on the high flying New York Jets.
Let’s just go over this one more time: great food? Check! Great drinks? Check! (Not great) Football? Check! This Thursday should be a good one and I look forward to seeing you all there! Trust me, every week I make the smart choice and travel out with the Thursdays crew, you should to!
When I lived in Texas and went to college many of my professors were baffled by my intellect and ability to learn things at such a quick rate. Even today people constantly ask me how I got so lucky, selling stop signs and writing for the Curd. This was all pretty standard growing up, and to this day I simply point to my mother as the answer. It is at this point you all assume that my mother must be a rocket scientist or a nuclear physicist, (side note: if you had to raise me, you would probably realize it was just as hard).
In reality, it all came down to one simple newspaper ad that she followed. I’ll picture it below and let you see for yourself.
