Greetings and Happy Holidays,
As we find ourselves winding down the year, we take this time to remember all the good memories that molded and shaped our 2018. I hope for many of you this includes Thursday night memories, as these were essential to my year. Here’s the great thing about Thursdays: every week is a chance to come out and meet some new people, make new friendships, and create a lasting bond with each other and this great city we call home.
This week we are in for a good one as we travel to the Tavern at Turner Hall. Run by the Caravan Hospitality Group (the people behind Nomad, Sports Club & the former Nomad Nacional) this is sure to be one heck of a night, as this group has definitely not let Welcome to Thursdays down in the past – even hosting last years Anniversary party! (FYI- more info on the 2019 bash is coming soon.) Having an amazing menu full of fun and different food is one way to get your foot in the door, but then to back it up with amazing drinks and an absolute stellar staff and you got yourself one epic Thursday night destination! I look forward to seeing you all at the Tavern at Turner Hall this Thursday.
Oh, I almost forgot, it occurred to me that Welcome to Thursdays has never truly had an ugly sweater gathering, so this Thursday will be just that – shout out to Erin G, WTT Member #25 for the idea! The person with the best sweater (as chosen by the Founders) will receive one drink and a special surprise!
Let’s face it, those sweaters are festive but wacky. So put on your finest and make sure its tacky. Some with cats, some that shine bright: no matter what, this Thursday is sure to be one festive night!
