Greetings and Salutations my most humble and noble Thursdians,

It’s that time of the week again! Time for us to gather and enjoy a few good drinks and a whole lot of good times! This week we will be embarking to Mark’s Sports Pub. This sports bar is known for all its fantastic features: great staff, great beer selection, and an amazing back yard area with plenty of room for various games and activities. Mark’s Sports Pub is also a big follower of the Milwaukee Brewers and it looks like they are home against the Pirates so it should be a pretty amazing time! I would throw in a few lines about how amazing the Brewers are doing right now, but my fellow Curdian Rob Petrie tells us weekly with the Sunday Cycle! What Rob probably hasn’t told you about is the important relationship between the Milwaukee Brewers, the Chicago Cubs, and a whole lot of Old Milwaukee.

Mark’s Sports Pub was an actual meeting place for the first ever under the table deal in all of baseball. After the successful year the Milwaukee Brewers had in 2011 and yet another awful year for the Chicago Cubs, the Cubbies of Chicago had finally reached their boiling point. They demanded a meeting with the Brewers, and the “Mark it in Secret” Initiative was created.

The MIIS Initiative stated that Mark’s Sports Pub was to become the official meeting place for any urgent matters or deals that needed to remain discreet in the world of Major League Baseball. The first meeting, of course, was held between the Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Brewers. Chicago had become especially jealous of how great Milwaukee was with its unbelievable people and great bars. They even took the time to explain the reasons why having Old Milwaukee made the city of Milwaukee a world power. As we all know, when you have Old Milwaukee, you have true power and it remains limitless.  Milwaukee listened and conjured up a plan that would benefit both teams: the 2016 Cubby Bubbly Interval Papers. The CB Interval Papers stated that in 2016, the Chicago Cubs would give Milwaukee a lump sum to increase production of that magical elixir both you and I enjoy so much: Old Milwaukee. For this, the Milwaukee Brewers would provide the Cubs with sequential shipments of Old Milwaukee and let them take the NL Central. The proof is in the pudding as the Chicago Cubs won the World Series and the Milwaukee Brewers didn’t.

The great part is the Cubby Bubbly Interval papers ended last year. Milwaukee is hungry and ready to bring Milwaukee a World Series and I for one very much look forward to celebrating it one Old Milwaukee at a time.

Cheers my friends!

Your Founder and Friend,

Jeremy Blandin
